Illustration of the three Targaryens

game of thrones illustration designThree heads of the dragon

I want to present you an illustration to the world-famous television series “The Game of Thrones”, to be exact, to the theory about the three heads ofthe dragon invented by fans of this fandom. I decided to portray what a lot of people would like to see on the screens, since I am a bigger fan of GoT.

What does that theory mean?
It combines the two assumptions made by the GoT fans regarding the two characters. A lot of people argue that Tirion Lannister and Jon Snow are in fact members of the Targarien family.
In the prophetic dream of Daenerys, her dead brother Reagar, who is the heir of the Crazy King, says that “the dragon has three heads.” Given that the image of the “dragon” in the world of Martin is often used metaphorically, denoting the heirs of the genus Targarien, the fans assume that it was about them. Since Dayeneris has three very real dragons, the fans decided that three heirs are needed to ride them. According to one of the popular theories, these Targarienians will be Tyrion and Jon Snow, besides the Dayeneris and now try to introduce them all together.
Why?
Tirion Lannister: This would explain to a large extent, on the one hand, Tywin’s hatred of his own son, no matter how imperfect, in his opinion, he was, and on the other Tirion’s tremendous loyalty to his father. The fans suspect that Tirion might have been born as a dwarf just because of the blood of the Targariens who married generations of their sisters, which led to a mutation. The appearance of Tirion in the book also hints at the fact that he is only partly Lannister. His hair is the same color as the proprietary blond of dragon lords, and one eye is dark purple, like that of Deyeneris. Tywinregularly reproached him that he was not his son; who knows, maybe it was not a figure of speech. Moreover, the dragons of Daenerys “recognized him as their own.”
John Snow: Who was John Snow in fact, we learned only in the last season, but even before that, almost everyone was sure that he was not the son of Ned Stark. The short version sounds like “R L J”, that is, Reagar plus Lianna equals John. In this version everything goes well. Ned himself, firstly, is not at all like a man capable of changing his beloved wife. Secondly, Lianna, Ned’s sister, dying in a pool of blood, made him give a promise. Thirdly, at this moment, she was guarded by the royal guard. Many people assume that Reagar and Lianna were really together for love, and Robert Baratheon, with all his feelings for Lianna, tried to kill the heir who threatened his rebellion. So, John turns out to be Ned’s nephew and either a bastard or a legitimate heir to the throne.
